Plastic Fuel Tank - 70 Litres (2 Shapes)

Superb 70 litre utility fuel tank..

These plastic fuel tanks are CE marked and compliant to ISO 21487 – “Small Craft – Permanently Installed Petrol and Diesel Fuel Tanks”. The CE mark logo, ISO standard and other regulatory details are embossed into the fuel tanks so you can be assured of their quality.

Each fuel tank comes with a universal inspection hatch (170mm diameter) that contains the various pipe connections required. The hatch is removable so you can access the inside of the tank. This also means that you can fully rotate the hatch should you need to alter the angle of the pipes to better suit your installation. The connections on the hatch are:

1 x filler – 1 1/2″ BSP with screw cap (can be easily adapted to take a hose fitting)

1 x sender connection – standard 5 hole sender connection – supplied with blanking plate

1 x engine feed – 90 degree 1/4″ BSP x 10mm hosetail, with pick up pipe to the bottom of the tank

1 x vent – 90 degree 3/8″ BSP x 16mm hosetail

1 x return – 1/4″ BSP tapped socket – supplied blanked off – open up and fit a hosetail if required

Both the engine feed and vent hosetails are removable, so they can be reduced / increased to suit your installation.

The tanks are available in a wide variety of capacities: 33 litres; 42 litres; 43 litres; 53 litres; 55 litres; 62 litres (two different configurations); 70 litres (two different configurations); 84 litres; 91 litres (two different configurations); 96 litres, 102 litres, 120 litres and 140 litres.

The tanks are made from Eltex which is a high-density polyethylene. This plastic and the ridged shape, means that they are inherently strong, fire proof and versatile.
