Excellent value fuel tank, available in either stainless steel (2 different grades) or aluminium. They are manufactured in the UK and CE marked to ISO 21487 (Permanently Installed Fuel Tanks) in accordance with the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD). This 60 litre tank is suitable for use with diesel or petrol.
This 60 litre tank is 660 x 350 x 290mm (L x W x H) and comes with the following pipe connections:
Filler: 1 x 1 1/2″ BSP female threaded socket
Sender: 1 x 1 1/4″ BSP female threaded socket
Feed: 1 x 3/8″ BSP female threaded socket, with pick-up pipe inside the tank
Return: 1 x 3/8″ BSP female threaded socket
Vent: 1 x 3/8″ BSP female threaded socket
The feed, return and vent are located on a 200mm o.d. bolt down inspection hatch. This hatch gives you easy access inside the tank for maintenance and comes with a nitrile sealing gasket and stainless fixings.
Metal is a more robust and longer lasting option than plastic for a fuel tank.

304 Standard Grade Stainless Steel:
- Our 304 grade stainless steel tanks are made from 1.5mm thick standard stainless steel.
- Stainless steel is a strong metal.
- Our stainless steel tanks are CE marked for use with diesel.
- 304 grade stainless steel tanks can be used on inland waterways.
316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel:
- Our 316 grade stainless steel tanks are made from 1.5mm thick marine stainless steel.
- Stainless steel is a strong metal.
- Our stainless steel tanks are CE marked for use with diesel.
- 316 grade stainless steel tanks can be used on both inland waterways and in salt-water environments, as 316 marine grade has higher corrosion resistence properties than 304 standard grade stainless steel..
Each tank is fully TIG welded by qualified welders and individually pressure tested so you can be assured of its integrity. The tanks come with a CE Mark and a Declaration of Conformity to certify that they are made in accordance with ISO 21487 and the RCD.
These metal tanks are available in a range of capacities from 40 litres to 240 litres.
Tip: Screw in stainless fittings such as hosetails and compression fittings can be used with these tanks to connect your fuel lines.
