This 20L fridge is ideal for confined spaces: offering flexibility with a cooling unit that can be installed separately. Efficient usage is promoted with a variable thermostat temperature control and convenient access with easy-pull drawers running on roller bearing slides. Plus the safe locking mechanism helpfully allows you to unlock and open the fridge in a single movement.

The CD20 fridge is designed to fit the small spaces found on boats, in small camper conversions and delivery trucks / van cabs.  Due to the solar power capability and a detachable cooling unit, there are endless installation options for this small, efficient fridge. A handy 1.5 m lead gives flexibility of positioning the cooling unit away from the actual fridge and, crucially for an avid traveller, the CD20 will perform well wherever you fit it. The drawer fridge is a popular option not only in boats, motorhomes and campervans but also in welfare units, long distance delivery vehicles and mobile trailers.

Unique to the CD range of fridges is the fact they don’t have a hinged door. They open on a ball bearing full extension drawer, which although shutting securely, is still easy to operate with a single hand. The advantages of a drawer fridge is simple: space! The space it fits in and the space it opens into. You need little of either and because the fridge is shallow yet deep and you can pack it with things to keep cool yet still access them when you need.

The compressor is very light on electrical consumption because it uses compressor technology as opposed to absorption the work perfectly well when not level. Up to 30% gradient and they will operate fine.

The thermostat is infinitely controllable via a dial. Cooling is performed by the fully hermetic Danfoss BD35F compressor and aluminium rollbond evaporator. Electrically, you can use a 12- or 24-volt D.C. supply with this fridge and it has reverse polarity protection.
