The horn itself is a diaphragm horn. The basic principle behind a diaphragm air horn is that air passing through the diaphragm (disc) inside the horn, causes it to vibrate. The noise of this vibration is amplified by the horn, thus producing a loud sound, which is suitable for signalling to other boats and water users.

When the horn is used there will be no mistaking it.

The dual horns are made of stainless steel and come with two mounting brackets and a cushioning rubber gasket.
