Keeping it simple is often best and the mechanism for altering the angles on the rod holder is ingeniously simple. Two sets of chunky stainless teeth, secured with a single central eye bolt are the secret. By loosening the eye bolt you can simultaneously rotate the whole unit to the desired position and also adjust the precise angle of the rod holder. Once in your desired positions, ensure the teeth are locked into position and tighten up the eye bolt to hold fast. How easy is that?

The wide rod holding tubes are closed at the bottom and have a black protective bushing around the top opening to protect your rod.
