Floating Plastic Winch Handle - 200mm

Universal winch handle made of buoyant glass fibre reinforced plastic.

This winch handle fits all standard winches. It is 200mm (8″) long so it is more compact adn perfect for areas with restricted access.

Its design is strong yet lightweight. Virtually impossible to break, yet so light that they float, should they go overboard. As it is very light (300g), it is also unlikely to damage your deck should you accidentally drop it.

This popular handle features the “Lock In” mechanism. This means that once inserted, the handle literally locks in and so can’t accidentally fall out or pop out whilst turning. This has two benefits: 1, it is less likely to go overboard and 2, it protects the user from being thrown off balance should it pop out. There is an easy to use switch at the top end to release the winch once finished with.

The handle is fitted with a ball bearing system which decreases discomfort by minimising friction on your hands whilst turning. This type of handle makes it faster and smoother to crank the winch.

Not only can it be used for winches, but it will also fit any deck fillers and access hatches that have the standard hexagon star-type sailboat winch key opening.
