International Maritime Code - Set of 40 Flags

Essential Navigational Code flags with storage bag.

This is a comprehensive set of forty international maritime code flags. Each flag is 30 x 42cm, comes with a rope, mounting toggle and clear idenjpgication label sewn onto the side. The set consists of 26 x Letter Flags, 10 x Number Flags, 1 x ANS Flag and 3 x Position Flags (1st, 2nd & 3rd). While each of the flags refers to a letter or number, many of them also have specific meanings and may be raised in certain circumstances to communicate with other vessels e.g. “I require assistance” or “I have a diver down, keep well clear at slow speed”. The full set of flags is also commonly displayed as bunting at regattas.

The set comes with a handy folding bag, for convenient storage. The red, splashproof bag opens up to reveal individual pouches to hold each flag when not in use.

Suitable for 20 – 50 foot long boats.
