Jubilee Clips conduct Neutral Salt Spray tests (NSS) on their clips according to BS EN ISO 9227:2006. This test demonstrates the length of time that the product is able to withstand salt spray without significant signs of corrosion. 240 hours is generally taken by the British Construction Industry as the equivalent of a lifetime of 60 years in an urban outside environment. All 316 grade stainless steel Jubilee Clips are rated at 2000 hours in the NSS test so far outweigh mild steel zinc (240 hours) or 304 stainless steel clips (1000 hours). Jubilee Clips are made to German quality assurance standard DIN 3017: Hose clamps with worm gear drive.

The Jubilee Clip Superclamp is a powerful clamp giving a very tight seal. The smooth inside profile of the band and rolled edges give protection for all types of hoses including soft hoses made from silicone or rubber. The Superclamp is tightened with a single nut and can can be assembled manually or with automatic tools. The bridge section ensures a 360 degree seal and the solid trunnion maximises torque. All Jubilee Superclamps have a Chromium VI finish.
