This versatile light can be used in many ways around your boat. We source these lights from Frilight, a major LED manufacturer here in Europe.

We wouldn’t quite describe this light as a spot light due to its wider dispersal of light (120 degrees) this means it is perfect as an ambient / accent light, it is perfect for bedside reading. Colour temperature is a warm white which is the standard light luminance used in household lighting.

This model of light comes in two variations:

A. Downlight – For a directional light choose the single downlight option.

B. Up/Down Tube Light – For ambient light we advise you to choose the up and down lighting option which can really throw the light up to your ceiling, helping give a feeling of space within your cabin areas.

The inclusion if the USB charging port is a perfect way to hide an additional charging port away from sight but also to keep your kindle going when the book gets a little too good to put down! It must be noted it won’t optimally fast charge a modern smartphone but it is more than capable of trickle charging many gadgets.

We cannot say enough what a quality finish is on this light. Not a mirror finish, but a definite bright reflective satin. Very effective.

Wiring is simple, power it off your standard 12 volt supply and because has its own switch located on the body of the light, additional switching is not required. This makes it ideal as a bedside light, a map light, reading light or accent light. You can pair it with a primary switch to give you greater control. The unit comes boxed with fixing screws.
