A smooth, stylish range of LED navigation lights, suitable for boats up to 20m long.
This compact range of LED navigation lights are a standard part for all sailing vessels.
The range includes a white 135 degree stern light, a white 225 degree masthead or steaming light, a bicolour (red and green combined light) and also 112.5 degree individual red and green sidelights. The masthead light faces towards the front of the boat, the stern light faces towards the rear of the boat and the sidelights are positioned on either side of the boat to indicate the port (left) and starboard (right) sides of the vessel. The red light is for the port side and the green light is for the starboard side.
These stainless steel lights have a smart mirror polished finish, which will co-ordinate well with other marine fittings. Due to their compact size these lights are easily mounted onto flat surfaces with 2 x fixings. A foam protective backing plate is included with the bicolour, masthead, port and starboard lights.
The quality of this range of lights can be assured, as they have been RINA type-tested for boats up to 20m long and have a visibility range of 2 nautical miles.
LED bulbs are included with the lights, so all you need to do is wire them in.
Why choose LED lights?
LED lights have quickly become a logical choice for today’s boats. They are up to 10 times more power efficient than filament bulbs, so draining your battery power is no longer a worry; they are more resistant to vibration and impact, so are less likely to blow whilst in choppy seas and the lifespan of LED bulbs far outweighs that of standard filament bulbs, so replacing the bulb becomes a thing of the past.
Admittedly, LED’s are slightly more expensive than standard bulbs, but as they become more and more popular this price difference is continually reducing and the many benefits of LED bulbs more than validate the price supplement.
These smart lights are popular with many sailors looking for neat, well designed navigation lights.
