Skin Fitting - Brass - Hosetail
- Straight polished brass skin fitting with hosetail
- Imperial BSP Thread x Metric Hosetail
- With earth tag
Skin fittings are used to maintain any type of hole going through the hull of a boat. Common uses are either to allow sea water in e.g. for engine cooling or to let water out e.g. waste water drains. They are also widely known as “through hull” (or “thru hull”) fittings.
These skin fittings are made from polished brass. Despite their humble application this range of brass skin fittings have a brightly polished face and earth tag. So wherever they are located they will add a traditional, nautical finishing touch to your boat.
The fitting is held in position, through the hull, by tightening up the back nut on the threaded section at the top of the fitting. These skin fittings have a metric hose tail connection at the end to allow you to easily push your plumbing pipe onto the adapter. These versatile fittings are available in a variety of hose sizes.
Please check the individual product details carefully for specific sizes and specifications to make sure you select the most suitably sized fitting for your application.
