Solar Vent - Automatic Air Vent

Ventilation in all boats is important to keep the atmosphere dry and fresh. This air vent achieves this, and better still it requires no external power source. It is solar powered!

The smart mirror polished housing ensures that the vent fits in with your boat’s appearance and adds a flash of style along with its functionality.

The solar panel charges the NiMH rechargeable batteries during the day and the batteries can provide up to 30 hours of fan operation without being recharged by the sun.

The vent can circulate air either in or out as it is supplied with two interchangeable handed fan blades. So depending on where you are installing the vent you can choose which way you want the fan to operate. By installing a series of matching vents you can circulate the air in and out throughout your boat.

The vent has an On – Off switch so you can choose when the fan is active. The fan can circulate air at a rate of 20 m cubed / hour.

This is great way to ventilate your boat without drawing any power from your main batteries.
