Stainless Steel Exhaust Scupper With Non-Return Valve

Plastic / stainless steel skin fitting with non-return valve.  Available to suit hoses with an internal diameter of 40 – 125mm.  Strong, high quality item manufactured to cope with the rigours of a tough marine environment.

These thru hull exhaust outlets are made in various diameters, we stock most of the variations, so if you don’t see the size you need pop us an email.  The size specified in the purchasing options box refers to the internal size of the hose you are trying to fit to the rear of it.

They make an excellent visual upgrade to your boat; they are generally fitted as standard OEM parts directly by boatbuilders.  So, you may even find if yours needs replacing this is a straight swap.

These scuppers are manufactured from a fibreglass reinforced techno polymer body, there is then an exterior polished stainless steel cover that snaps in place after installation that hides the fixings (not supplied).  The non-return valve is manufactured from a flexible NBR rubber that will seal back onto a flat faced ring recessed inside of the outlet.  No gaskets or fixings are supplied with these units.  It is expected the installer will choose the most suitable for his individual installation requirements.

These are primarily used for routing exhaust fumes from an inboard engine or generator, the check valve is designed to allow exhaust fumes to exit the system with little resistance yet stop water from a backwash entering your exhaust system.  You may well find uses for these on other wet or air systems onboard where you wish to stop water or air returning back into your pipelines.
