Firstly it is a duel compartment fridge. Normally with this design the large compartment is the freezer and small the fridge. With this clever design you can control temperatures independently choosing which compartment acts as the fridge , freezer or both! Not only that you can change the settings either on the easy to read display or via the free Total Cool app!
The Extreme name comes from the rugged design. It is built to last with strong wheels and a ‘shock proof’ heavy duty construction. It has fantastic insulation, (the manufacturer claims it can hold its temperature for up to 8 hours without power) but with a small efficient electric consumption this fridge is ideal for those travelling off grid on battery power.
These chest freezers are ideal on-board where the fitted freezers are often insufficient and un-economical to run.
You have options on how to power this fridge/freezer. It will accept D.C. Battery power at 12 or 24 volts. So perfect for campervan, truck or Marine systems. It comes complete with a household 240 Vac 3 pin plug adapter so you can fill it and cool it at home before transporting it and plugging it into your car 12 volt socket.
There is an inbuilt battery protection system. Depending on how you set it, the fridge will turn off if the battery voltage drops below the pre-set value. The cut off voltages are different when running it from a 24-volt battery.

What’s in the box?
You will receive your TOTALFREEZE fridge/freezer along with a TOTALFREEZE AC adapter, a TOTALFREEZE 12V lead, an AC mains lead (UK & EU) and a user guide.
The fridge will run from multiple electric sources. A.C. (normal 3 pin plug) or D.C. 12-volt or 24 volt is fine. All power leads are supplied with the fridge.
The TF-EXTREME is very efficient using only around 60 watts, or 3.7 amps an hour. This is because the high quality, quiet compressor inside will only come on intermittently to keep the unit at the desired temperature, controlled by the internal thermostat. Cooling is possible down to -20 degrees. Due to excellent insulation, the TotalFreeze will stay cold for up to an unbelievable 8 hours once unplugged and coupled to the TotalPower 144 small (we stock these) Lithium Power it will run for over 3 hours, the TotalPower 500 can power the fridge constantly for over 11 hours. Enough to keep the contents cold for a weekend trip.
