This Fridge Freezer is a cabinet fridge/freezer from the Coolmatic CRX series of 3-in-1 refrigerators.

Flexibility is this fridge’s middle name, as it has the signature Dometic removable freezer compartment. So, it can be used as a fridge-freezer, or simply pull out the top freezer section and the whole unit can be either a fridge or a freezer.
The desired temperature is set on the soft-touch control panel. There is a choice of 5 temperature settings. The control panel is mounted flush in the inner wall and elegantly integrates the LED light and infrared sensor. There’s smart electronics behind it: the intelligent system regulates the compressor speed and thus achieves energy savings up to 25%! The fan speed automatically adjusts to the ambient temperature. This results in minimal noise.
Perfect for use in boats, campervans , caravans & horseboxes with the added benefit of being able to be used as a conventional fridge/freezer, full fridge or full freezer offering cooling, freezing or both at the same time!
This is a very space efficient cabinet fridge/freezer and is able to fit into the most compact vehicles or compartments with minimal ventilation required from the vehicle’s actual living space (no need to vent outside the vehicle). For optimal utilisation of space on boats the CRX50 has a rear bevelled edge. A small detail, but one that makes a big difference.
Other useful features that are often not included with cheaper imitation makes are:
- – A salad crisper drawer (doesn’t have to be used for salad!) This can also be used to help keep fragile contents still whilst you are on the move, which is useful for items such as eggs.
- – A guardrail attached to the door pocket to prevent anything tall standing in the door such as milk (or wine bottles!) from spilling.
- – Automatic reverse pole protection, essential when travelling abroad.
- – Hose connection for condensation drainage.
- – Four installation points for fastening from the inside.
- – The door lock has dual functionality. It can be locked to secure the fridge whilst in use to ensure it doesn’t fly open when you are on the move. It also can be used in ventilation mode so when the fridge is turned off, air can still circulate which prevents the dreaded mould.
- – The door has a stainless steel effect front. This is easy to change if you want to add in a decor panel, to coordinate with your cabinetry.
