Weld-On Metal Filler Neck with Round Cap

Making your own fuel tank? These weld on filler necks are the perfect way to finish it off.

The weld-able filler neck comes in both 304 grade stainless steel and 6061 aluminium so they can be used with either stainless or aluminium tanks. 304 grade stainless steel can be welded to both 316 grade stainless steel and also mild steel. Aluminium can only be welded to aluminium.

The round caps are made from chromed steel, are vented and fit both the stainless steel and aluminium weld on filler necks.

The caps have an easy to use bayonet opening, so like most vehicle filler caps you just have to turn them 45 degrees to open them up.

The aluminium weld on necks are 32mm tall and the stainless necks are 23mm tall. All necks are 58mm external diameter and have an internal clearance of 38.8mm at the narrowest point.

The round filler caps are 70mm diameter and are mirror polished chrome. All the caps have a rubber seal on the underside.
