360 degree all round white LED navigation light on stainless steel pole.

This removable navigation light pole is perfect for boats where there isn’t enough height clearance for a permanently fixed mast light.

The white 360 degree light on the top of the pole comes with an LED bulb and this could be used as both a steaming light and an anchorage light. The stainless steel base is wall mounted, ideal for fitting onto a flat bulkhead. Once the base mount is fixed in position (with 4 x screws) the pole can be pushed in / pulled out of the base as required. This is convenient if you have a height restriction to work with when your boat is in storage. The hole in the base unit is sealed with a watertight cap when the pole is removed. These combined light pole sets are popular on open boats where fixed light installations can be difficult.

Why choose LED lights?

LED lights have quickly become a logical choice for today’s boats. They are up to 10 times more power efficient than filament bulbs, so draining your battery power is no longer a worry; they are more resistant to vibration and impact, so are less likely to blow whilst in choppy seas and the lifespan of LED bulbs far outweighs that of standard filament bulbs, so replacing the bulb becomes a thing of the past.

Admittedly, LED’s are slightly more expensive than standard bulbs, but as they become more and more popular this price difference is continually reducing and the many benefits of LED bulbs more than validate the price supplement.
