Fairlead - Single Straight

Classic stainless steel single straight fairlead.

A fairlead is a device used to guide a rope or chain to prevent it catching or fraying. Fairleads allow your line to be pulled in a direction that is not always straight. For example, when raising or lowering sails the rope passing through the fairlead is pulled horizontally, while it hoists the sail vertically. Not only does it maximise your pulling power, but it can also help keep the deck orderly and arranged. Fairleads also prevent a straight run of line from vibrating or chafing on the deck surface.

This straight fairlead is made from mirror polished AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel. It comes in a choice of two lengths 125mm (5″) and 152mm (6″), so is suitable for different sizes of lines. The curved hooks are beautifully shaped and would be a stylish finishing touch for any boat.

There are two countersunk 5mm holes for screwing the fairlead to the deck.

This fairlead is perfect for most small to medium sized vessels.
