Inboard Telescopic Flush Muff - Short or Long

It is advisable to flush your inboard engine with fresh water after each use to keep it clear.

This is particularly important when you are running the engine in sea water. The salt crystals build up and clog the channels.

“Flush muffs”, “flushers” or “ear muffs” are the easy way to connect a standard garden hose and rinse the engine through with fresh water. This removes any debris and salt water to prevent the salt crystals from forming when the engine dries out.

This universal flush muff is suitable for inboard engines.

The lightweight aluminium pole is telescopic to allow you to set it at the optimum length for your set up.

This model is available in two sizes: Short & Long.

The short model extends from 460mm up to 770mm.

The long model extends from 690mm up to 1210mm.

The unit  consists of one large rubber suction cup (140mm diameter) with an inbuilt hose connector on the end of the aluminium telescopic pole.
When the suction cup is in position over the thru hull scoop strainer, use the pole as a lever to hold it in position. Then simply connect a standard garden hose to the motor flusher and when the engine runs fresh water will be drawn through the engine to rinse out any contaminants.
